The Cumulus chair is a whimsical floor sculpture designed to start conversation and draw admiration. The unique and organic shaping of the seat and backrest is reminiscent of cloud formations whilst the hand forged 'wobbly' solid bronze frame reflects the organic lines created in our signature ceramic patterns. 

The chair’s mohair seat and backrest introduce softness and warmth, creating a tactile counterpoint to the rigour of bronze and ceramic. Hand forged patinated bronze console table with hand cast pebble bronze feet and suspended earthenware ceramic spheres. All made by hand in London.

The Ceramic spheres are threaded onto the metal frame and held in place with bronze washers to give the appearance that they are floating. All ceramic pieces are hand-built using a slab building technique in a mix of coloured clay and finished with a high gloss transparent glaze to show the unique and distinctive pattern beneath.

The nature of our making process means that every piece of ceramic is unique and designs, colours, the contrast of tones and patterns may vary.

Material: The piece is upholstered in Zoffany Mohair in Mousseux (ZL7X333439/C), with piping using Zoffany Wool Satin in Mousseux (ZDEC333263/C).

Origin: Ceramic elements hand-made in our London Studio and upholstery in Leicester, UK

Colour: Pictured in brown and white however, ceramic pieces are available across all 12 of our unique colour combinations.

COMPOSITION AND CARE:

Mohair: 68% Mohair, 32% cotton

Wool Satin: 100% Lambswool 

Clean with a soft dry cloth only. Do not use polishing agents, water, or abrasive materials when cleaning.
