Workshop Information

How it Works -

In these 75-minute sessions, guests will learn how to create one of Henry’s signature art-deco-inspired mugs from start to finish.

Attendees will discover Henry’s self-taught take on the traditional Japanese nerikomi ceramic technique and an introduction to hand-building, rolling clay into slabs, which are then cut and hand-moulded into different forms.

The classes are run by a member of Henrys team, who will carefully guide you through the process from start to finish.

Doors open 15 mins before so you can get yourself ready for the class. We cant wait for late comers.

All materials, including aprons, will be provided. We advise you to wear something you don't mind getting dirty or dusty.

Please bring water if needed.

This is a Henry Holland Studio mug class only, we're unable to make anything else as it's a group class.  We'll always try to make sure to have all our colours available for you to choose from but we can't guarantee they will be available.

We'll ask you to sign/ mark your mug so we can identify it for when you collect later on - We'll ask for names and identifier.

Wednesday workshops start at 6.15pm and Saturdays start at 10.30am, the studio is open 15 mins before so you can have time to get ready.

After the Class -

Your mug will then be sanded, fired, and glazed by Henry's team. Glazed pieces will be available to pick-up from the studio in approximately 3 weeks. It might take longer when the studio is busy.

Please note you will receive a notification when it's ready to collect.
