Hand building Mug Workshop – SATURDAY 14TH FEBRUARY

While we take every possible step to ensure quality, we cannot guarantee that mugs will be completely free from leaks or withstand all stages of the production process. As the mugs are manufactured by a third party, we cannot accept responsibility for issues that may arise during or after production.Get your hands dirty and join us for a fun-filled class of crafting your own mug from scratch at our Hand Building Mug Workshop!

In these 75-minute sessions, guests will learn how to create one of Henry’s signature art-deco-inspired mugs from start to finish. Attendees will discover Henry’s self-taught take on the traditional Japanese nerikomi ceramic technique and an introduction to hand-building, rolling clay into slabs, which are then cut and hand-moulded into different forms.

Your mug will then be sanded, fired, and glazed by Henry's team. Glazed pieces will be available to pick-up from the studio in approximately 3 weeks. Please note you will receive a notification when its ready to collect. 

The classes are run by a member of Henrys team, who will carefully guide you through the process from start to finish. 

Doors open @10 AM 

The workshop starts @10.15 AM and will run for approximately 1 hour and 15mins.

Important Information

All materials, including aprons, will be provided. Just bring yourself and a bottle of water.

We can't guarantee every colour will be available. 

We advise you to wear something you don't mind getting dirty or dusty.

Unfortunately, our studio doesn’t have wheelchair access. 

This is an adults only event.

We have the right to cancel the class if theres fewer than 10 in attendance- we'll let you know 48hrs before the date. A full refund will be given.  

Refunds will be given up to 48 hours before the event. Please email hello@henryhollandstudio.com with your order number and date of your class. 

After the class - Your mug will be ready to collect in approximately 3 weeks, this might take longer when the studio is busy.

We will email you when your mug is ready to collect - You have 2 weeks to collect your creation. We sadly can not keep them any longer as we don't have the space.
